Keeps the warm air out: This is ideal if you don't want to permanently mount the exhaust hose of the mobile air conditioner through a hole in the wall, but rather hang it through a tilted window.
To prevent the air conditioner from immediately drawing warm air back into your home, simply attach the window seal with Velcro. Then open the zipper a bit in the middle, slide out the hose, and you're done.
Of course, you can also open the zipper completely, e.g. to air it out.
